WHY THE DATE WAS EXTENDED BY ONE WEEK

Your historic D/Herald Awards for Excellence will now hold on Saturday, 3rd  July, 2010 instead of the earlier advertised date of 19th June, 2010. The initial date coincides with the well publicised presentation of staff of office to the new Lamido of Adamawa, HRH Barkindo Aliyu Mustapha.
Most of our awardees have informed us that they made commitment to attend the occasion at Yola, and requested that the D/H Awards be shifted as a mark of honor for the monarch.
It is in view of this development that it becomes necessary to extend the initial date of the D/Herald Awards. The venue is still the prestigious Asaa Pyramid Hotel, Kaduna. We regret any inconveniences this change may cause our esteemed awardees and invited guests.
